Tobacco oak heartwood
Lively. Original. Robust.
Oak is the classic furniture wood par excellence. The tree grows almost everywhere in the temperate zones of the earth. Oak wood is ring-porous and intensely structured. It can therefore be easily distinguished from other woods. The tree is ready for felling after approx. 80 years. The oak heartwood exclusively consists of heartwood planks made from oak trunks. This is the only type of wood that provides the desired, typical properties, such as heartwood splits and splay knots. The powerful charisma is further intensified by the brown tone of the tobacco stain.
Light irradiation
The oak becomes more yellow over the years. This is hardly noticeable because the change happens so slowly.
Wood Specific treatment
Treatment that is specific to the wood. Wood stain and two layers of very matt UV water-based paint are applied to the intensively brushed wood.
